Envehope Timeline

2024

  • December 20th - Picking up 23 cards from Mr. Nguyen's class at Silver Oak Elementary School, 189 cards from our P.O. Box (check blog about December 20 P.O. Box for more details), donating toys at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, and shipping out all cards to Children's Hospital Colorado, Children's Nebraska, and Sutter Santa Rosa. 

  • December 19th - Picking up 326 cards (check blog for December 19th for more details), and toy drive with Ida Jew Academy and Valle Vista Elementary School, garnering 160+ toys, with an estimated value of $3K. 

  • December 18th - Picking up 234 cards: 213 cards from 3rd and 4th graders at James F. Smith Elementary School, 6 cards from Cancer Awareness and Art Club at John F. Kennedy High School, and 12 cards from collaboration with an art studio, CalColor San Jose. 

  • December 17th - Picking up 90 cards from LAHS HUGS Club (43 cards), MVHS Random Acts of Kindness Club (16 cards), and Ms. Hodgson's Class at Franklin Elementary School (31 cards)

  • December 16th - Picking up 61 cards from Ms. Yen, Ms. Orsburn, and Ms. Mishra, from Cadwallader School. 

  • December 13th - Picking up a total of 487 cards from different schools (check blog for December 13 for more details), and card-making workshop at Enlighten Heart Education Center (18 cards). 

  • December 12th - Picking up 45 cards from Ms. Dominguez, a teacher at Santee Elementary School (31 cards), and the Teenagers for Medical Support Club at Saratoga High School (14 cards). 

  • December 11th - Picking up 72 cards from Ms. Divine, a teacher at Shirakawa Elementary School (52 cards), and Ms. Rosas and Ms. Navarro, teachers at Los Arboles Elementary School (20 cards). 

  • December 10th - Picking up 49 cards from Ms. Nguyen, a teacher at Windmill Springs Elementary School

  • November 26th - Mailing out 57 Thanksgiving cards to Children's Hospital Colorado! (20 from Envehope President, 5 from Envehope officers, 25 from Abundant Education, 7 from Enlighten Heart Education Center).

  • November 26th - Collaboration with Enlighten Heart Education Center to teach kids how to create Thanksgiving cards to be sent to Children's Hospital Colorado, 7 cards

  • November 25th - Collaboration with Abundant Education to teach kids how to create Thanksgiving cards to be sent to Children's Hospital Colorado, 25 cards

  • November 23rd - Collaboration with nonprofit Cardz For Kidz

  • November 22nd - Collaboration with nonprofit cards4caring

  • November 22nd - Created card creation program where anyone from all across the world can send cards to Envehope (physical and digital cards). 

  • November 10th - Opened up cards to be sent to any chronically ill child that signs up on our form 

  • October 23rd - Became recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization 

  • October 21st - Sending cards off to Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area (25 cards, 22 from Abundant Education Event, 3 from Envehope members) 

  • October 12th - Hit 500 followers on Instagram 

  • September 16th - Collaboration with Cancer Kids First San Diego to host a card / book drive for kids at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Sent a total of 59 cards, with our officers sending 14 cards and us facilitating the sending of 45 cards.

  • September 6th - Event with local after school, Abundant Education, to teach kids how to create cards to be sent to Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area, 22 cards created

  • August 6th - First collaboration sending back-to-school encouragement for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, 24 messages created

  • July 3rd - Created our first Instagram post 

  • July 2nd - Launched our website 

  • May - Started Envehope
